| Available: | The Anchorage Parts Department has an opening for a full-time Parts Professional to service customers' parts needs at the counter and over the phone. |
| Responsibilities: | Using the Cummins Northwest Promise of Dependability process: •Look up, sell and pull parts •Determine replacement parts required, according to inspection of old parts, customer request, or customer’s descriptions of malfunctions. •Receive and fill telephone orders for parts. •Fill customer orders and shop orders from stock. •Take inventory of stock. •Receive payment or obtain credit authorization. •Mark and store parts in stockrooms according to prearranged system. •Discuss use and features of various parts, based on knowledge of Cummins engines.

| Qualifications: | • Have good verbal communication skills and ability to develop relationships with external and internal customers. • Be a self-motivated team player with the ability to work and communicate well with customers and co-workers. • Demonstrate the ability to initiate, expedite and follow through to task completion. • Have ability to positively react to change in environment, processes & people. • Be a high school graduate or equivalent. • Have experience handling customers in a courteous and professional manner. • Have and maintain a good driving record. • Be a fast learner, good with numbers, and a desire to learn. • Have at least one year parts counter sales experience. • Have the desire to provide top quality customer service. • Knowledge of Cummins parts system & forklift operations a real plus.
